What is Microblading?
Microblading, or Micropigmentation, is a cosmetic technique which creates tattoos (semi-permanent pigmentation of the dermis) as a means of producing designs that resemble natural eyebrows. It can be used to create eyebrows, particularly in people who have lost them as a consequence of old age, alopecia, chemotherapy and to disguise scars and white spots in the skin.
How does it work?
Microblading can be applied in many different ways, shapes, designs or colours. Gone are the days of ‘Scouse-Brows’ and embarrassing permanently surprised high-arched brows! Pigments come in a vast range of colours from black, to brown, to blonde, with every warm and cool tone you can think of. Colour should be chosen to compliment your age, style & skin-tone. Design can be created in a block colour for the more daring and in soft hair strokes for those who prefer the more natural look.
